Dear Citizens and Staff,

On the directives of Central Vigilance Commission ‑ Government of India, our Country is observing Vigilance Awareness Campaign‑2024 from 16 ^th Aug’2024 to 15 ^th Nov’2024. Vigilance Awareness Week is one of the Participative Vigilance initiatives of the Central Vigilance Commission in the fight against corruption. It is an awareness building and outreach measure which aims to bring together all the stakeholders. It is observed to create greater sensitivity about the need for ethics and transparency in governance and public administration. The Commission endeavors to promote integrity and eradicate corruption with the active support and participation of all citizens. For the past three years, there has been a campaign in the run up to the week with preventive vigilance initiatives as focus areas. Every year Vigilance Awareness Week is observed in the week in which the birthday of Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel falls in. 

Vigilance Awareness Week 2024

This year, the Commission has decided that Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 would be observed from 28^th October 2024 to 3^rd November 2024 on the following theme:

“सत्यनिष्ठा की संस्कृति से राष्ट्र की समृद्धि”
“Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”

As a prelude to Vigilance Awareness Week 2024, the Commission has desired that all organizations may undertake a three-month campaign (16^th August 2024 – 15^th November 2024) on Preventive Vigilance with focus on five areas as specified in the Circular No. 08/08/24 dated 01.08.2024.
