The city of Mathura, renowned for its historical and cultural significance, became the epicenter of groundbreaking achievements as scientists from ICAR-CIRB (Indian Council of Agricultural Research – Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes) made their mark at the National Conference hosted by the Indian Society on Buffalo Development on the 27th and 28th of October.
Dr. Ashok Balhara, a Senior Scientist at ICAR-CIRB, received the distinguished title of “Distinguished Scientist” during ISBDCON 2023. This recognition was bestowed upon him in acknowledgment of his exceptional contributions to the development of a pregnancy diagnosis kit made specifically for buffaloes.
The accolades didn’t stop there. Dr. Sarita Yadav and Dr. Supriya stood out with their exceptional oral presentations, earning them the title of the best in their respective themes. Furthermore, Dr. Sujata’s innovative poster presentation also garnered attention, securing the prestigious “Best Poster Award.” These achievements showcased the relentless pursuit of excellence by the dedicated scientists from ICAR-CIRB at this significant conference in Mathura.
