CIRB celebrates Festival of Yoga and Wellbeing with Deaf and Dumb school students and staff
International Yoga Day 2019

Central Institute for Research on Buffaloes, Hisar celebrated Festival of Yoga and Wellbeing, on International Yoga Day on 21 June 2019. At the start of the session Dr. V B Dixit, Acting Director welcomed the Chief Guest, Sh. ML Bansal, Additional Director General MES (Retd), Yoga teachers Sh. Mohinder Singh, CIRB Staff and 12 students from the deaf and dumb school, Hisar, their teachers, and parents including social activists. Director, all scientists and staff pledged to beat plastic pollution and refuse plastic products in daily uses.
In the program Sh. Sh. Mohinder Singh a deaf and dumb Yoga teacher from Hisar practiced and pranayama and assans. All staff and students performed breathing exercises and yoga on music beats. The yoga skills of Sh. Mohinder Singh were liked by all.
Chief Guest told his experiences, how yoga can be useful to fight serious disease’s including Parkinson etc. He appreciated the celebrations of the Festival of Yoga and Wellbeing with the staff and students of the deaf and dumb school. This is essential to take all citizens together in the development of the nation.
All staff including students took deep interest in the program and the same was coordinated by Dr. PS Yadav, Principal Scientist of the Institute.
