Celebration of International Women’s Day
A grand celebration was organised to mark the International Women’s Day on 08th of March, 2021 in the auditorium of the ICAR-CIRB, Hisar. All the women employees working in CIRB in various departments, farms, unit and state section were cordially invited to join the program. Nearly hundred women employees and student were involved in this event. The event was conducted in the presence of Dr S.S Dahiya, Pr. Scientist and other senior faculties of CIRB. A welcome speech was addressed by Dr Sarita to inspire and encourage all the women to keep excelling consistently and to keep moving every time. All members of CIRB family payed tribute to the indomitable spirit of women. During the event Dr Dahiya, Dr Dixit, Dr Yadav, Dr Bharadwaj addressed that gender equality is very important for a healthy society and girl child education will create awareness among the society which will further result in overall development of nation and its community. It is the time to uphold women’s achievements to recognize challenges and focus greater attention on women’s rights and gender equality to mobilize all people to do their best. The event was organised by Dr. Sarita Yadav, Dr. Sunesh Balhara, Dr. Meeti Punetha. Dr Sunesh Balhara, proposed vote of thanks and invited everyone for cup of tea. This celebration brought fun, happiness, entertainment and a sense of unity among all.
